Colin Callahan

It all began at age 13 when Colin Callahan took a University of Wisconsin-Madison Saturday enrichment course on urban culture where he first discovered music production. From that moment forward Callahan immersed himself in studying music production and started learning from local hip hop DJs. Callahan spent thousands of hours mastering Logic and Pro Tools and produced hundreds of instrumental tracks before the age of 15.

Time in Miami exposed Callahan to new musical influences. With the mentorship of DJ Mag Top 100 DJ’s, Callahan started producing commercially viable music. Callahan’s mashups were soon being played by some of EDM’s biggest acts including Tiesto, Sick Individuals, and Promise Land.

In 2014, Callahan was accepted to the prestigious Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU. His first release “Crave” featuring Madison Love (a billboard Top 10 songwriter).

Soon after, Callahan’s music was heard by Capitol Record’s A&Rs. Callahan went on to produce official remixes for Capitol Records artists including: Cold War Kids and Lemaitre. In 2017, Callahan released his debut track “Eden” on Breeze Records.

This is just the beginning for Callahan, with plans for future releases on Capitol Records and Breeze Records, writing and producing for top 40 artists, a forthcoming EP, and DJing around the world, Callahan has much more in store for the future!
